Non Chemical Fungicide/Pesticide Recipe

1 tsp Baking Soda
1 heaped tsp ground clove
1- 2 Tblsp. White Oil (see below for recipe)
1 Litre of water

I blended cloves and put it through a sieve, you can crush them but be mindful it needs to mix thoroughly and then pass through a small spray nozzle.

Mix into 1 Litre of water and spray on plants/leaves as a non toxic fungicide and pesticide.
Baking Soda increases the pH away from suitable range for fungal growth.
Clove is a discourages pests

Recipe for White Oil
1 cup of vegetable oil
1/4 cup of detergent (I use coconut liquid soap at 30% dilution for a non petrochemical alternative)

You can shake this mix in a jar but I use my stick blender to create thick white cream as the oil emulsifies.

This is simply an oil/detergent mix which has two actions.
This will coat and cover insects like aphids and prevent them breathing.
The detergent acts as a surfactant allowing the mix to spread across the leaf.
The oil creates stick so the mix stays on the leaf better.
